Employment as a Path to Independence
Supported Employment (SE) is an evidence-based service that assists individuals with significant disabilities — including intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), serious mental illness (SMI), and co-occurring conditions — in obtaining and keeping paid employment in competitive, integrated settings. At Always Love, our Supported Employment services are grounded in the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, which emphasizes rapid job search, person-centered planning, and ongoing support tailored to each individual's strengths, interests, and goals.

Who We Serve
Our Supported Employment services are available to individuals with significant disabilities — including I/DD, serious mental illness, and co-occurring conditions — who are authorized through NC Medicaid, the Innovations Waiver, Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), or their LME/MCO.
